Our History
1992
The Beginning in Syria
The company’s journey began in Syria in 1992 as a family-owned business specializing in earthworks and civil engineering, laying the foundation for its long-standing expertise and continuous growth in the construction industry.
2001
Expansion into the Algerian Market
In 2001, the company took a strategic step by entering the Algerian market through strong partnerships with leading construction companies operating across North Africa, marking the beginning of its regional expansion.
2009
Establishment of Elbayrak
In 2009, Elbayrak Construction was established in Algeria to meet the growing demand for projects across several strategic sectors. The company specializes in a wide range of major projects, from pipeline construction for the oil and gas sector and active participation in numerous industrial projects, to major housing and urban development projects.
Today, Elbayrak Construction holds a Class IX (First Rank) classification in the Building, Hydraulics and Public Works sector and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

EL-BAYRAK Construction will ensure regulatory and normative presence, aiming to have a common reference internally and with our partners.
EL-BAYRAK Group adopts the following objectives:

Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
EL-BAYRAK Group pays particular attention to respecting and protecting the environment.
Moral respect towards our employees and clients is a fundamental and predominant operating principle of the group.
Similarly, EL-BAYRAK Group must also do what is reasonable to avoid or minimize any hazards to employees and adverse impacts on the environment through its activities.
The successful implementation of this policy requires the full support and active cooperation of all EL-BAYRAK Group employees.
Each employee has the duty to report working conditions or practices that pose a safety risk or threaten the environment and must take reasonable measures to reduce such risks.
In order to achieve this goal, EL-BAYRAK Group sets the following main objectives:
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all its employees at work
- Ensure that employees, client personnel, and others who may be affected by EL-BAYRAK Group activities are not exposed to health and safety risks
- Identify, Assess and Control risks
- Ensure that employees, visitors, and others are aware of identified risks and, where appropriate, receive relevant information, instruction, training, and necessary supervision
- Develop coordination and cooperation arrangements with other employers where EL-BAYRAK Group personnel share activities, sites, equipment, or premises with persons working in other organizations or where persons from other organizations work in sites, with equipment, or share activities controlled by EL-BAYRAK Group
- Maintain work equipment in a safe condition and provide safe work systems and a safe working environment for its employees and others
- Write clear procedures for measures to be taken in case of emergency situations
- Consult employees and other third parties on healthsafety, and environmental issues
- Encourage the development and maintenance of a positive attitude towards health, safety, and environment at EL-BAYRAK Group
